Publicist Expands Business To Include Artist Management, Event Management & Booking

(Washington, D.C.) – September 9, 2009 - Gospel music industry insider, Andrea R. Williams, recently celebrated three years since leaving her full-time job and launching the publicity division of her company. In August 2006, she left her prestigious job at the GRAMMY Awards and took Tehillah Enterprises, a company she started in 1999, and launched it full-time. “It was definitely a huge step of faith for me,” says Williams. “I have always had a passion to promote gospel music and its artists and God has given me favor with Tehillah Enterprises.”

Since August 2006, Williams has represented clients like award-winning producer Steven Ford, praise and worship artist Alvin Slaughter, famed singer and Stellar Award winner DeWayne Woods, 2009 Stellar Award nomineeTerrell Hunt and Gospel Jazz artist and producer Terrence Richburg. Developing comprehensive public relations campaigns for gospel artists and Christian authors is one of the company’s fortes. Although much of her company’s mission has been devoted to publicity, Tehillah Enterprises will soon be venturing into artist management and booking. With the company’s staff experience in gospel music, having a more active role in the direction of an artist’s career is clearly the next step for the company. New artists being added to Tehillah Enterprises’ roster will be announced soon.

In addition, Tehillah Enterprises will be branching out into event management. The company organized its first gospel music concert, in conjunction with the U.S. Army Entertainment Division, last year. The event, held at Fort Belvoir, VA, included gospel artists CeCe Winans, Byron Cage and the 7 Sons of Soul. Tehillah Enterprises will be organizing more gospel music and Christian events in the near future.

Williams is no stranger to the music industry. Employed for 8 years with the GRAMMY Awards, she was part of the original staff of the D.C. Chapter of the GRAMMY Awards, known as The Recording Academy. During her tenure, she brought gospel icons like Richard Smallwood, Donald Lawrence, Tonex, Kim Burrell, Tramaine Hawkins, and many others on board as members (and board members) of The Recording Academy. She was also instrumental in the Academy’s Salute To Gospel Music series which included artists like Kirk Franklin, Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans, Shirley Caesar and Smokie Norful.

Outside of the Academy, Williams has been named a “Mover & Shaker” in the 2004 – 2009 editions of the Gospel Music Industry Round-up, known as the “Bible of the Gospel Music Industry”. She’s a former writer for online and written publications such as Gospelcity.com, Charisma Magazine, and Gospel Today Magazine, to name a few. Also, as a writer, she’s penned bios for artists like Marvin Sapp, Byron Cage, Dr. Bobby Jones, Vickie Winans, Jonathan Butler, Tramaine Hawkins, Trin-i-tee 5:7, Kenny Lattimore & Chante’ Moore, and many others.

Williams’ company, Tehillah Enterprises, is also the creator of The Tehillah Report, an e-zine reaching thousands highlighting the genre of praise and worship, the D.C. Gospel News Update e-zine, focusing on what’s going on in gospel music in the Nation’s Capital, and its complimentary website, DCGospelNewsUpdate.com. Williams truly has a goal of blessing the gospel music community. “I am thankful that God allowed me to realize my dream,” says the President of Tehillah Enterprises. “I am excited to see what God has in store next.”

Faith Hope And Love Productions Presents A Gospel Concert To Benefit Charities On Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Sleep Train Pavilion In Concord, CA

(San Francisco, CA) – July 21, 2009 – Faith Hope and Love Productions presents “The Nor Cal Gospel and Praise Concert” featuring GRAMMY Award Nominee and multiple Stellar Award Winner Marvin Sapp, GRAMMY Award Nominee and Stellar Award Winner Martha Munizzi and Multiple Dove Award Nominee Kyle Bynoe on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 12:00PM – 6:00PM at Live Nation’s Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord, CA.

Destined to be a rousing time of praise and worship, the event’s goal is to bring the churches in the San Francisco Bay Area together for a time of unity. Not only will the rafters be raised in praise, but a portion of ticket sales will go to participating churches, as well as Shepherd’s Gate and the Youth Intervention Network, organizations that assist at-risk children, families, and women who have been imperiled by circumstances and plights such as substance abuse, domestic violence, poverty, and homelessness.

Founder of Faith Hope and Love Productions, Terry Ketchel, is excited about the opportunity to bring Believers together for a time of praise. “Back in August 2008, God put on my heart to produce concerts and manage Bay Area Christian talent,” says Ketchel. “It wasn’t until June 2009 that God revealed the vision would be much bigger. Faith Hope and Love Productions will bring Bay Area Churches together for one day at the ‘Nor Cal Gospel and Praise Concert’ at the Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord, CA. Artists from soloists to choirs will take the stage one church at a time to put on their Highest Praise and share some testimonies,” shares Ketchel. Terry has tapped some of the brightest in gospel music for her first concert kick-off.

Marvin Sapp, one of the genre’s most preeminent leaders of worship and praise, has been a favorite with gospel audiences for years beginning with his time as lead vocalist with the ground-breaking group Commissioned. But his song Never Would Have Made It”, heard on gospel and mainstream radio alike, catapulted the Pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the stratosphere. The song netted him eight Stellar Awards, multiple Dove Award Nominations, and a BMI Song of the Year honor, spending 47 weeks at the top of the Gospel radio charts. In addition to breaking all sorts of records, The Associated Press named “Never Would Have Made It” as the 2008 Top Song sold more than 1,000,000 ringtones, a first in gospel music.

Martha Munizzi is known nationally and internationally as a singer and notable songwriter, with such songs as “Shout”, “Glorious” and “Because of Who You Are, becoming modern day praise and worship anthems for the church today. As a result she has been nominated for Grammy, Dove, and Stellar Awards as both a performer and songwriter. Martha travels extensively with a message that crosses cultural, generational, and denominational boundaries ad is currently on tour supporting her latest CD Release, Change The World Live.

Kyle Bynoe has written for artists such as Tina Turner, Angie Stone and Mary J. Blige. He brought his talents to the gospel music side of the industry and penned hits for Rizen, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, and New Harvest, songs that netted Bynoe Dove Award Nominations, including three in 2008 alone: Traditional Gospel Recorded Song of the Year, Urban Recorded Song of the Year and Traditional Gospel Album of the Year. Bynoe took on the role of artist with his group Kyle Bynoe & Praise with a debut release in 2005 and is known for his special style of urban praise and worship.
